About Me
First, thank you for visiting my website.
For years, I have felt a photo is the best way to capture an expression, which tells all. So I feel the many expressions one makes can leave a lasting impression that gives us the memory of a moment in time. Therefore, I often say "An expression that leaves a lasting impression" which is my goal in taking portraits.
Now a little bit about me. I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember, it has always just been a hobby and a way to capture a moment in time, which one can look back on and reflect how they felt or remember something special about the day/event/person. For example, back in high school I know many of my friends (MBP) would want to hide when I took out the camera, but are grateful now that they have those photos to look back on.
How it all started:
In 2004, I was working in an after school program and I was always taking photos of the children and displaying them, not thinking my passion and hobby would take me in a new direction. When to my surprise I had a fabulous kindergarten teacher (DeeDee) ask me if I would photograph her wedding! WOW! I had never even put any thought into turning my hobby into a business (I just knew that I loved taking photos of people and loved the happiness I received when I gave them a copy of the picture). Therefore, I thought about it and decided I would photograph the wedding, which has led me to putting my passion to work.
